66. Commercial Row - Block H, Railroad Street

With the arrival of the railroad, this block quickly became home to several businesses including Homer Davis' Blacksmith Shop, The Busch Hotel, The Eldorado Saloon, The Depot House, Humboldt Soda Works, a general store, and more. Railroad Street was quite the busy, bustling place. In the 1900s, other businesses opened here such as Egoscue Grocery and 7-UP Bottling. For the most part, nothing remains of these structures. They were either burned down or demolished, as was the situation for the Egoscue Grocery building in 2002.  A portion of the 7-UP Bottling facility still remains, and is now occupied by an equipment repair business.
